Well, what a strange start to the year. COVID may have hit me, but cant be sure but I had to cancel 3 appearances this past week. I missed playing at Klooz Brewz, The Bridgewater Club, and my return to McGilvery's in Speedway. But better safe than sorry I suppose. I was feeling well enough though to join Country Summer as we made our first show of 2022 a memorable one at Ale Emporium in Greenwood on the 14th. We debuted a few new tunes and all were well received. With our regular sound man, Curt, out of action for a while, we employed the services of the always capable and professional Steve Hurt. He has such a clean stage and helps us have the best show possible. As I type this, I am thankful for the members fo the band, and the families of them as well. This weekend, I get to bring Tim Neuman and the Copper Stills to Joe's on Friday, and play my first solo show at a new venue for me on Saturday. The Living Room Lounge should be an interesting new spot for me. I'm looking forward to it! Here's to a great start of the year!
